This policy explains what RideMe collects when you book or drive with us, why we need it, and how you stay in control of it.
What we collect
- Account details you give us: name, phone number and email address.
- Trip details: pickup and drop-off landmarks, distance, duration, fare and payment method.
- Driver details: vehicle make, year, colour, plate number and approval status.
- Location: a driver's live location while they are online, so we can match nearby trips.
How we use it
- To match riders with nearby approved drivers and price trips against our published rate card.
- To let you track a trip in real time and keep a receipt of past journeys.
- To vet drivers, investigate safety reports and support you when something goes wrong.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your phone number with anyone other than the driver or rider on your active trip.
- We do not track a driver's location when they are offline.
Your choices
- You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account at any time.
- You can turn off location sharing by going offline in the driver console.
